![]() Though Wagner died in 1995, his voice can still be heard in a few places throughout the Disney parks. Wagner's son Mike, a former disc jockey and radio programmer is a Disney executive and also provided park announcements for Disneyland Paris. He was the younger brother of noted choral director Roger Wagner. Outside of Disney, Wagner also enjoyed a lengthy career as a radio announcer at KNX in Los Angeles and as a TV actor, his best-known role being that of the malt-shop proprietor in The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Wagner's voice, processed through a vocoder effect, could be heard in the opening narration of iterations of the parade at Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland. With electronic musician Don Dorsey, Jack Wagner co-arranged the updated soundtrack for the Main Street Electrical Parade, used in various iterations of the parade from 1977 to 2009. Dreams Come True and is also heard in Toy Story 2 and in the Phineas and Ferb episode " Rollercoaster: The Musical!". ![]() One of his most famous lines is from a safety spiel at the Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction: "Remain seated please permanecer sentados por favor." This line is reprised in the nostalgic fireworks show Remember. ![]() Wagner also voiced a lot of the Disney characters in the 1980s, primarily for live entertainment offerings in the parks, Disney on Ice shows, and live-action clips for television. He was also the narrator for several of the character training videos before his death. ![]() Because of the prevalence of his voice in the park, his nickname was "The Voice of Disneyland". He also did voice work for Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and the attractions themselves, including instructions, emergency precautions, and safety spiels. He is famous for the various announcements over the park PA for parades, shows, and special events as well as being heard in various Disneyland TV specials, commercials, and Cast Member training videos. Jack Francis Wagner was the official park announcer for Disneyland from the early 1970s to 1993. ![]()
